Challange
Picsart's Content team in 2021 struggled to produce content at scale for one of the largest enterprise clients and was capped at 300 templates a month. This not only risked the potential revenue, but also limited future growth opportunities for the business as well as had high content acquisition costs.
Solution
Together with a Content team at Picsart we looked at the content generation process and have changed the approach to internal design. We have integrated early Stable Diffusion and DALL-e models and later Chat GPT to the daily work of a designer, teaching them how to use AI, write better prompts and plan visual content. We also changed design workflows moving from "start from a blank page" to data and research informed process with a variety of layout templates.
Result
New process showed 7x productivity increase and 60% decrease in acquisition costs.
